I recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Szandy in Sovata with a group of friends for two nights. This lodge strikes a balance between comfort and affordability — a wise choice for those seeking a taste of luxury without breaking the bank. We were welcomed with a seamless check-in process and appreciated the cleanliness of our rooms, complete with comfortable beds. The villa offers free parking and a shared kitchen, which I found convenient for meal prep after long days of adventure exploring the nearby lakes. A highlight of our visit was catching sight of a bear in the backyard— an experience that certainly added a thrill to our stay. Though we enjoyed our time here, I’d recommend considering longer stays to fully appreciate what Villa Szandy has to offer. With its charming garden area and proximity to the city center, this place delivers real value for anyone looking to explore the stunning Carpathian surroundings.
